Tinker Hatfield’s first Air Max sneaker was released in 1987. Identified by their bubble-like midsoles, the Air Max technology incorporated a flexible urethane pouch filled with pressurized gas to cushion and support your feet while walking.
The reception of this versatile model and its many forms gave life to the Air Max revolution. Since then, it has seen countless collaborations with the late Virgil Abloh all the way to KAWS and Streetwear legends Patta, making the Air Max silhouette and line one of the most iconic to date.
