Panini Mosaic Basketball relies mainly on the parallels, but with an added background pattern. The base set features NBA Debut, USA Basketball and Hall of Fame subsets. With a larger base set in play, each Hobby box has five base Silvers and 15 Mosaics.

Collectors can find numbered Mosaic Red, Mosaic Blue and Mosaic Purple versions. The rainbow also offers Hobby-only Mosaic Gold, Mosaic Black and Mosaic White editions to chase.
